"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Litestep is excellent, I didn't realize how easy it was to do what you were asking, if I did, I would have answered much earlier! I downloaded the module from ls-universe.info and looked in the documentation about how to hide the taskbar. Cheers!
